Ex-CDS, 2 others bag NDA honorary doctoral award

ROYAL NEWS has gathered that the former Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral Saad Ola Ibrahim (rtd), has been conferred with the Honorary Doctorate of Management Sciences (honoris causa) at the 28th convocation ceremony for the 64 and 65 regular courses of Army, Navy and Air Force and Short Service Course 44 of Army at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.

Other awardees are: legal luminary Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), and the Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Najib Hussein Adamu.

Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim was born 15 June 1955 and was educated at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and King’s College, London where he bagged LLB and MA (War Studies) respectively.

During his pulling out ceremony in 2014

He received his military training at the Nigerian Defence Academy and the Armed Forces Staff College, Jaji and served as Chief of Naval Staff from 2010 to 2012, and as Chief of Defence Staff from 2012  and retired in 2014.
