2 Boko Haram bombers attack Maiduguri general hospital

Two bombers suspected to be members of the Boko Haram have attacked a general hospital located at the outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno state.

They were said to have attacked the general hospital at Molai.

Sahara Reporters did not give details, but there are fears that it could have led to the death of many patients.

The attack comes at a period the Army was given a few days to arrest Abu Shekau, a factional leader of the terrorist group.

Related reports said the blasts happened in series with the first explosion going off at 3:50 am.

The second one reportedly went off between 5:00 am and 5:30 am.

NAIJ.com earlier reported how at least, eight persons were killed while 14 others sustained serious injury in a recent bomb attack by Boko Haram insurgetnts which happened at an Internally Displaced Persons camp.

It was learnt that the attack happened very late on Friday, July 28 in the camp located in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno and was reportedly carried out by two female suic*de bombers.
