2019: Shuaibu Yaman promises Asa LGA 200 tractors

Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi, Kwara APC governorship aspirant

Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in Kwara State, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi, has reiterated his commitment to provide jobs in abundance for youths and focus on wealth creation among the entire citizenry.

He stated this on Tuesday in Ogbondoroko in Asa local government area during his tour to solicit support ahead of the forthcoming governorship primaries of the party. Yaman maintained that, “Ogbondoroko is a community with outstanding records of producing food in abundance in the past.

“It is no longer news that technology had taken over virtually all facets of human endeavours which therefore made modern-day farming to go beyond how’s and cutlasses. This is not in any way of prejudice but it is a statement of fact that we all need to understand and appreciate. Failure to adhere to the modern approach of doing things will continue to endanger our lives and also subject us abject poverty and penury.

“As we can see that our youths are getting addicted to social vices and this is really saddening and working against the progress of our dear state and future at at large. I have offered myself to lead this struggle for the liberation of our people. It is not by mistake that Kwara North is agitating for power shift at this point in time. This because necessary due to the fact Kwara Central had ruled for 12 years when Kwara South had held sway for 8 years. Therefore, on what moral pedestrian will anyone stand to say Kwara North has no right to lead the state?

” As for me, if elected to become the State Governor, I will provide 200 tractors to Asa Local Government area to support farming activities in the area in order to boost food security , job creation and wealth creation in Kwara State. I have come here today to promise you good governance and transparent leadership.”

Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi also visited Shao community in Moro local government area where he promised the Ohoro of Shao, Oba Alabi Oyerinde III, that the people community shall be accorded recognition and rightful placement in his government among others.

Similarly, the Governorship hopeful visited members of the Hausa Community and assured them of support if elected as governor.

However, Oba Oyerinde endorsed the ambition of Shuaibu Yaman for governor stressing that Kwara State desires visionary leader and good governance for its numerous developmental projects to be actualised while members of the Hausa community also threw their weight behind him.
