
The Commissioner of Police Kwara State Command, CP Victor Olaiya, has restated the commitments of the police towards the safety and security of life and properties during and beyond the festive period.
Olaiya stated this in a statement by the command’s public relations officer, DSP Toun Ejire-Aseyemi, noting that Officers are fully mobilized and ready to ensure robust security measures across Kwara State.
CP Olaiya said, ” it is my heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and blessed celebration as we approach the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir the.
“Whether you’re celebrating at home or traveling, be rest assured that we are here to safeguard lives and properties.”
The Police Chief further disclosed that, more police personnel have been deployed to conduct visible patrols along major routes, residential areas, places of worship, and critical infrastructure. This is as he reiterate that the goal of the command is to provide a secured environment where Eid-el-Kabir can be celebrated without hitch.
CP Olaiya urged visitors and residents of the state to be vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and highlighted the the numbers to call in cases of emergency.
