FRSC gets new boss in Kwara, Irekeola Muftau

A new Sector Commander for the Kwara state Sector Command FRSC has assumed duty. He is CC MA IREKEOLA, ROYAL NEWS reports.

He was received by Senior Officers of the Command. He tasks the officers and men of RS8.1 Kwara to be up and doing in all the activities geared towards achieving the Corporate Strategic goals particularly the reduction of Road Traffic deaths and injuries in Kwara State.

In his address to Officers and Men, at a parade organized in his honour, Irekeola tasked on the need for greater commitment and focus on the reduction of road traffic crash fatalities and injuries within Kwara State and its environs while shunning all forms of corruption.

Irekeola also held a strategy meeting with all Heads of Departments and Units, where he charged them to discharge their primary duties with firmness and fairness.

The Sector Commander, further, advised motorists to adhere strictly to road traffic rules and regulations to avoid chances of being involved in road traffic crashes.

He said, “Useful ideas and suggestions from the public that can bring about a safer motoring environment in Kwara will be welcomed”
Irekeola wished his predecessor well and expressed readiness to leverage the already existing synergy between Kwara Sector Command and relevant stakeholders towards delivering on the Corps mandate.

The new Sector Commander; Corps Commander MA IREKEOLA, holds a Bachelors Degree in criminology and a Masters in Transport Study.

Before his appointment, Irekeola the 21st Sector Commander in the State, was the former Sector Commander Delta state Sector Command.
