18-year-old Kingsley Paul has confessed to the killing of his 38year-old lover in a hotel in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
ROYAL NEWS reports that Kingsley was paraded alongside other suspects on Friday by at the Police Command.
Confessing his crime, Kingsley said he and his lover agreed on a fee of N2, 000, which he paid to her.
The incident was said to have happened at the Ekehuan Barracks axis of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Moses Joel Yamu, said that the suspect took his woman friend to the hotel and stabbed her to death.
He said the suspect would be charged to court upon the completion of investigations.
He said that the woman had already taken off her clothes when he stabbed her to death.
Kingsley admitted that there was no quarrel between them but he just suddenly took out his knife and stabbed her to death.
