The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has mourned over the death of 48 persons who died tragic accident along Bida-Agaei-Lapai on Sunday.
The Minister commiserate with the government and people of Niger State and as well as families, friends, and loved ones of the victims.
ROYAL NEWS had reported on Sunday 8th September 2024 that about 48 people and 50 cattle were burnt to death in the unfortunate incidence.
However, the Minister said: “This terrible incident according to a statement signed by the Minister, has shaken the entire Niger State and the nation at large.
“My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected during this painful time. I therefore join the people of Niger State and the whole of Nigeria in mourning this profound loss.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may God grant their families the strength and fortitude to bear this immeasurable loss.”
