The leadership of the Federal House of Representatives on Wednesday issued a notice og postponement of resumption of its ongoing summer vacation.
Although, the lawmakers were expected to resume on Tuesday 17th September 2024 but a circular signed by the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, disclosed that the new resumption date is Tuesday 24th September 2024.

Dear Honourable Members
I hope this memo finds you well. Please be informed that the resumption date from the ongoing recess has been rescheduled from Tuesday, September 17, 2024 to Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Please note also that the Leadership has set Wednesday, 25th September, 2024 to formally inaugurate the new board of the Public Complaints Commission and the Joint Senate/ House Adhoc Committees on Petroleum Industry investigation.
The venue and time for these activities will be announced at the plenary on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024
All Members are enjoined to grace these activities especially as to demonstrate the commitment of the House to the people.
Kindly make necessary adjustments to your schedules and ensure your timely presence for this purpose.
