The Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on Youth and Media Mobilization, Mr. Atu Terver, popularly known as Krayzeetee, has reportedly been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
The incident came to light late Tuesday after his wife revealed on social media that she received a distress call from him in a frightened tone, saying, “I have been abducted, call mummy.” Subsequent attempts to reach his phone were unsuccessful.
Terver recently drew public attention after dismissing one of his aides who participated in a protest against killings in the state. As of Wednesday, security authorities have not confirmed the abduction or released details regarding possible rescue efforts.
