Billionaire businessman and nightlife magnate, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has disclosed plans to retire from active business within the next decade.
Speaking in a recent interview, the 50-year-old entrepreneur revealed that he intends to step away from the fast-paced business world at age 60 to enjoy life, explore the world, and spend more time with his wife.
According to the father of five, his current focus is on building a lasting legacy and ensuring his children achieve financial independence before he takes a back seat.
“By the time I turn 60, I’ll be done. I want to travel the world and give my wife the best experience life can offer. The idea now is to make sure my kids come up and become independent to live for the rest of their lives. No more work,” he said.
Obi Cubana, who is known for his vast investments across hospitality, entertainment, and real estate, explained that his demanding schedule and constant travels are part of his long-term plan to secure a stable and sustainable future.
He added that his philosophy of success centers on working smart and building systems that can thrive without his daily involvement, allowing him to enjoy the fruits of his labour in his later years.
