British police have arrested three suspects in connection with the fatal stabbing of British-Nigerian musician Mark Orabiyi during an incident at a residential property on Rayleigh Road in London. The 35-year-old reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by emergency responders to save him.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers arrived alongside paramedics after receiving distress calls and found Orabiyi critically injured in the garden of the property. Authorities also confirmed that a second victim, a 20-year-old man, sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police disclosed that two men and a woman were arrested shortly after the incident as part of the murder investigation. A 27-year-old man was later released on bail pending further inquiries, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released after questioning with no further action taken against them.

In a tribute, Orabiyi’s family described him as a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend whose kindness and talent positively affected many lives. They said his warmth and generous spirit would be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke described the killing as tragic and appealed to the public for information, including CCTV or video footage that could assist investigators. Police said inquiries are ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
