The Emir of llorin and Chairman, Kwara council of Chiefs, Alhaji lbrahim Sulu-Gambari, has called on Development partners and cooperate bodies to invest in the infrastructural development of the llorin emirate for more development to be attained.
The traditional ruler made the call in llorin on Friday in his message at the inauguration of 76 Housing estate initiated and completed by President Muhammad Buhari administration in llorin, the Kwara capital.
Sulu-Gambari, who was represented by the District Head of Owode, Alhaji Kayode Sidiq, said the llorin emirate is yearning for more development in view of its strategic position as the gateway between the North and the West.
The traditional ruler, who observed that the state needs to record more development more than the current status, appealed to development partners to come and invest in the state.
The Emir said the llorin emirate and the entire state is peaceful to accommodate bodies or organisations willing to contribute to the infrastructural development of the area.
The traditional ruler expressed his gratitude to President Buhari for the construction of the estate which, he said, will further boost the infrastructural development of the llorin.
