Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) has expressed high hope and confidence in the judiciary to deliver the right judgement with regard to the case before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.
Mr. Obi is challenging the result of the just-concluded February 25 presidential election where Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu was declared as the winner and pronounced the President-Elect, ROYAL NEWS reports.
The LP chieftain expressed his confidence in the judiciary during a live appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday morning.
Obi said said he had no reason to doubt the court, stating that Nigeria has one of the finest judiciary in the world, however, saying that politicians are the people trying to corrupt the judiciary.
