An Abuja-based business man has alleged that officers of the Nigeria Police has released robbers who raided his shop.

The businessman, Kelechi Umezurike said, robbers attacked his shop in Dutsen Alhaji in Abuja and carted away with his N967,000.

ROYAL NEWS gathered that, security men stationed in the area arrested the suspected robbers and handed them over to the police.

 “The security men arrested the thief with the money and took him to the Police station in order to ascertain the particular shop that was burgled in the morning.” A businessman has accused the police of releasing robbers who stole from his shop.

“Now they have detained the officer in charge on Sunday,” Umezurike said.
