Again, Makinde speaks on his 2027 presidential ambition

Seyi Makinde

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has addressed speculations about his 2027 presidential ambition, stating that he’s old enough to declare his intentions when the time comes.

Makinde made this known to reporters at Fashola Farm in Ibadan on Saturday after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) retreat.

He emphasised that nobody could push his political agenda and that he would announce his intentions explicitly.

The Governor recalled his 2019 governorship election where he was considered an outsider without political experience, but the people of Oyo State gave him a chance.

He highlighted his infrastructural projects and declared that he had created sustainable institutions and ensured good governance.(NAN)
