Date:

The Board of Directors of Heart and Capital Nigeria limited, a leading agrifocused company has recorded tremendous boost as it rewarded investors with 15 percent return on their capital investment.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Heart and capital is an agric revolutionary company with over 1,000 acres farmland and mentorship of no fewer than 4,000 youths on agribusiness across Nigeria.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mallam Umar Adelodun, who spoke to journalist in Ilorin at the weekend, disclosed that, “The reward was part of proceeds from the well-rounded performance in the ‘Cassava Proxy Farm’ project.”

According to him, “It is a product of the company’s investment
platform that allow individuals and corporate bodies to make profit by keying into proxy farming ended with multi-million naira being paid out to the investors with 15% return on investment.

“The project focus was cassava and it was planted on 50 hectares of land with one acre of land being minimum land available for
investment. The proxy farming initiative which lasted for 10 months was established as a means for individuals and corporate bodies to diversify their source of income through agriculture, create jobs, support the Federal Government’s policy direction to reduce the nation’s over reliance on crude oil which is no longer reliable as its price has continued to dwindle over time and also to further support the United Nation’s climate action goal.”

He however described the project as the beginning of many success
stories which was achieved as a result of the consistent and sustained effort by the company to focus on the needs for clients to get the best out of their investment, through provision of excellent service, accountability and continued investment in industry expertise that reinforces our business value.

In her remarks, an investor, Hajia Fatima Zahra, disclosed that, “I was in search of an investment plan that was both profitable and Halal and Heart & Capital provided me with the best suitable plan. The only regret I have is not investing even more in the Heart and capital proxy farming platform.”

Similarly, an investment advisor, Mr. Olumide Lawson (CFA) who also participated in the project said: “The proxy farming experience was an excellent one for me. For a business executive like myself, the experience provided me with the exposure I desired to the agriculture sector.

“I was happy to receive the periodic update reports and video, which made me feel very close to the progress of the farm. I am a very happy “proxy farmer” indeed and look forward to more investment opportunities from H&C.”

The Media Director, Heart and Capital Nigeria limited, Ms RasheedatDaibu, however reiterated that the success of the cassava proxy farm and yearning of clients for more investment opportunities has inspired a more profitable initiative by the company.

Daibu noted that, “Something bigger and better is coming from our
Assetmart with even more returns and security of investment…it is
important to us that more people benefit from the new investment
opportunity hence, we are making provisions to ensure that the project accommodate more individuals, corporate bodies and government parastatals.”
