The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the official schedule for its Ward, Local Government Area (LGA), and State Congresses in Adamawa State, Zamfara State, and the Federal Capital Territory.
The timetable was released by the party’s National Secretariat at 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja, and signed by the APC National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR.
According to the statement, the schedule follows the completion of congresses conducted across 32 states of the federation.
Key Dates and Activities:
- Saturday, April 11, 2026: Screening of aspirants for Ward Executive Committee (Exco) positions.
- Sunday, April 12, 2026: Appeals arising from Ward Exco screening.
- Monday, April 13, 2026: Ward Congress.
- Tuesday, April 14, 2026: Appeals from Ward Congress.
- Wednesday, April 15, 2026: Screening of aspirants for LGA Exco positions.
- Thursday, April 16, 2026: Appeals from LGA Exco screening.
- Friday, April 17, 2026: LGA Congresses; Screening of aspirants for State Exco positions; Appeals arising from LGA Congresses.
- Saturday, April 18, 2026: Appeals from State Exco screening; State Congress.
- Sunday, April 19, 2026: Appeals from State Congress.
The APC emphasized that all activities will be conducted in accordance with party guidelines and earlier resolutions on the conduct of congresses across the country.
