Ariana Grande: promises Manchester return

Ariana Grande has promised to return to Manchester for a benefit concert for victims of Monday’s suicide bomb attack that killed 22 people and wounded scores of others.

The artiste who returned to Florida on Tuesday made the promise today in a  heartbreaking statement  to millions of her fans, which she published on her social media platforms.

The suicide bombing at Manchester Arena  marred  her concert and derailed her planned tours in Europe.

“My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester attack and their loved ones,” Grande wrote.

“Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.”

The 23 year-old pop singer, who canceled her Dangerous Woman tour after the attack, said she would be returning to Manchester to spend time with her fans and hold a benefit concert for the victims.  She however did not indicate how soon she would do so.
