Asagba dies at 99, official statement to be released after 7days

Obi Edozien died on Wednesday and residents of the state capital have described his death as a great loss to the kingdom.
A palace source, who is one of the monarch’s top aides, confirmed his death to our correspondent.
The source familiar with the workings of the palace, however, said there would be no public statement on the development until after seven days.
