Atiku’s wife mobilizes Kwara women’s vote for her husband

Hajia Titi Abubakar, Wife of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday in Ilorin called on women to vote massively for her husband, Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential flag bearer in the coming 2019 elections.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Mrs Abubakar made the call during a campaign rally in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

She urged various women groups gathered at the event to vote for her husband, adding that her husband has the capacity to fix Nigeria’s ailing economy.

According to Mrs Abubakar, her husband is an educationist, job creator, an economist and philanthropist who has a lot of compassion for the country which explains why he is vying for the position.

Also addressing the women groups, Mrs Omolewa Ahmed, wife of Kwara State Governor also called on women in the state to go out and mobilise people and also come out en-masse to vote for all the candidates, vying for position in PDP at the 2019 General election.

Earlier the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu Gambari, welcomed Titi Abubakar to Ilorin and prayed for the peaceful conduct of the election.

There were good will messages from the wife of the PDP Vice-Presidential candidate, Mrs Margaret Obi, Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Ali Ahmed and Mrs Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President.
