Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin is dead

The Balogun of Ajikobi of Ilorin, Alhaji Isah Jimoh, is dead, ROYAL NEWS reports.

Alhaji Jimoh who is one of the high Chief in the Ilorin Emirate council died at the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.

In his condolence message signed by the National Secretary of Shehu Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, expressed shock over the Balogun’s demise.

He noted described Alhaji Isah Jimoh as a very loyal, articulate and visionary traditional chief who was always passionate about the development of the Ilorin Emirate and humanity at large.

The Emir however commiserated with the close assocites, immediate family of the deseased as well as the people of Balogun Ajikobi community and the people of the Ilorin Emirate over the death of the Balogun.

He said: “His contributions to the growth and development of the Emirate will not be forgotten so soon due to his display of sterling qualities and enthusiasm in his conducts as a foremost traditional chief and community leader.”

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore pray Allah to grant him forgiveness and admit him into paradise as well as give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
