The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has called on party members to actively engage in the ongoing e-registration exercise, while urging residents to participate in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Omale made the appeal on Thursday during a meeting with a delegation of stakeholders from the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency. He emphasized the need for unity and commitment among party members ahead of the 2027 general elections. “I encourage our party members to actively participate in the ongoing e-registration exercise and urge the people of the state to turn out massively for the Continuous INEC Voter Registration,” he said.
The delegation, led by Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Musa Ujor, expressed appreciation to the APC leadership and pledged confidence in the party at all levels. Stakeholders commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for his inclusive governance and goodwill towards the Otukpo/Ohimini constituency, citing key appointments of indigenes in the deputy governorship, ministries of Finance and Health, and the APC State Chairmanship. The group, comprising elders, women, and youths, also pledged to mobilize support for APC and Governor Alia in the 2027 elections, while lauding Omale for his leadership and efforts to strengthen the party in the state.
