Benue man who sold land to three different buyers comits suicide

Mr. Tator Ayihe has committed suicide over after land to three different buyers.

The deceased hailed from Ayihe Village in Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State took his own life by ingesting Sniper, a dangerous pesticide, on Wednesday after selling a plot of land to three different persons.

Those he sold the land to had assembled for an inquiry at the residence of the traditional ruler of the village for adjudication.

According to the source: “He left the gathering with an excuse to get something from the house; he instead went to three different shops in search of Sniper.

“He succeeded, went home, switched off his phone, and drank the whole bottle of Sniper.

“The chief sent people to his house, where it was discovered he had drunk Sniper. He died on arrival at the hospital.”

The Benue State Police Command spokesperson, Catherine Anene, could not be reached for confirmation of the incident, as calls to her phone were not returned.
