Bishop Abioye Says Wife Tested HIV-Negative After Prayer

Date:

The Founder of Conquerors Global Assembly, Bishop David Abioye, has claimed that his wife was once diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic but later tested negative following prayers.

Speaking during a church service on Sunday, Abioye shared the experience while preaching on divine healing. He said he was informed by medical personnel that his wife had tested positive for the virus, a result he immediately rejected.

According to him, he prayed and made scriptural declarations before insisting on a fresh medical examination.

“During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said no — not in this body,” he told the congregation.

He explained that a second test was conducted, and the result returned negative. “They checked her up and they couldn’t find anything there,” he said, referencing scripture to support his belief.

Abioye described the experience as an example of spiritual intervention, saying, “Healing is not for gentlemen; you don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go.”
