“We can’t continue to live in perpetual dependency status where foreign influence(s) will continue to drive our policies as an independent/sovereign nation. There are various principles of International Law and Diplomacy. He therefore maintained that “Let all member states abide by the treaty of ECOWAS which was signed and affirmed to abide by, in order to ensure a peaceful and prosperous African sub-region.
