BREAKING….Covid-19: Kwara shutdown motor parks, churches, mosques

As part or measures towards preventing the coronavirus outbreak in the state, the Kwara state government has banned commercial transportation, closes all mosques, churches and markets effective from tomorrow, Thursday, March 26.

The state Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi gave the directive today while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital.

Mr Alabi said there should be no movement of commercial vehicles, socio gathering and have closed down all motor parks in the state.

The Deputy Governor said fast foods are allowed to operate but it will be take away and urged Kwarans to adhere to the directive of state government to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state.

Mr Alabi said security agents will be on ground to ensure full compliance of the directive.
