The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has approved the commencement of the Annual Special Prayer for the month Rajab in the Islamic calendar.

According to a statement issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the paryer which will be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr Muhammad Bashir Imam-Soliu OON will begin on Monday 6th January 2025 equivalent of 6 Rajab 1446 AH by 8am.

The monarch however urged the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond to be part of the gathering which is aimed at seeking Allah’s mercies and sustainable peace in the state and nation at large.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore prayed that Almighty Allah to continue to promote peaceful coexistence across the country.
