 The Senator representing Kogi West Central Dino Melaye on Monday, March 27, appeared before the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges over allegations that he did not graduate from the Ahamdu Bello University, Zaria.

The vice chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University has said that Dino Melaye graduated with a third class in Geography The Senator representing Kogi West Central Dino Melaye on Monday, March 27, appeared before the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges over allegations that he did not graduate from the Ahamdu Bello University, Zaria.

Dino appeared before the committee alongside the vice chancellor of the university Ibrahim Garba. At the hearing, Melaye admitted under oath that he graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University.

Although he did not state the year which he graduated, he told the committee that he officially changed his name from Daniel Melaye to Dino Melaye. Dino appeared before the committee alongside the vice chancellor of the university Ibrahim Garba.
