Late Sheikh Qudus Al-Korowy
A renown Islamic scholar and close ally of the Emir of Ilorin, Sheikh Qudus Abdullahi Al-korowy is dead.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the cleric died on Wednesday and will be buried this afternoon according to Islamic rite.
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State in his reaction to the unfortunate incidence said: “Our hearts bleed as we just lost a legendary Islamic scholar, philanthropist, and educationist, Sheikh Qudus Koro.
“I commiserate with islamic scholars around the world, the muslim ummah, the Emir and good people of Ilorin and indeed, the entire state. May his blessed soul rest in peace”.
