Buhari commissions 3 road projects in Kafanchan

President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated three road projects in Kafanchan, the seat of the Jema’a local government area in Kaduna state, on Thursday.

The roads were Katsina Road, Dan Haya Road and Emir Palace Road, built under the state government’s Kafanchan Urban Renewal Project.

Under the state government’s Urban Renewal Project, 21 roads totaling 26.3 km in Kafanchan were rebuilt, widened or doubled at a total cost of N12.8 billion.

Mr. Buhari, accompanied by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, toured the newly opened roads, to the cheers of the large crowd that came out in droves to welcome him.

The president then went to the Palace of the Emir of Jema’a in Kafanchan to pay tribute, after which he left for Kaduna, the state capital, to inaugurate more projects.
