Burglar robs same house thrice in one hour
A brazen thief was caught on camera returning to the same house three times in one hour to raid its valuable contents while a family were asleep inside.
CCTV footage shows the balaclava-clad man scale a high wall and squeeze through a tiny bathroom window to get into the property in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, at 5.30am on Tuesday.
He returned twice more and stole a number of items, including the keys to a getaway vehicle, the homeowner’s luxury 4×4.
The burglar riffled through everything ‘again and again’ and stole a ‘hand bag full of money, cards and valuables, along with the keys to the Volvo XC60’ which he left in.
Facebook user, Mub Shaikh, posted a video of the CCTV footage online to warn neighbours about the thief who he said “had no fear and is a danger to everyone in the area.”
Police confirmed they had been called to the address at around 8.25am on Tuesday, the Birmingham Mail reports.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a break-in at the property. An arrest has been made, but investigations are ongoing.”
An elated Mub Shaikh took to his Facebook wall to thank friends and families who shared the post.
He wrote: “A big massive, massive thank you, to my family & friends and all of you guys who shared this post. Thanks to Allah, we have found the culprit and found the car.
“He has been arrested and everything is sorted, the police are dealing with it. Please be careful and wary, these streets are not safe.”
