The Ciroma of Ilorin, Barr. Abubakar Sulu-Gambari SAN, the Senionr Adviser and Counsellor to the Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Saadudeen Salahudeen, the National President of the Ilorin Descendants Progressive Union, (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmalik Abdulmunini were among dignitaries that paid their last respect Ambassador Sheikh AbdulAzeez Uthman who died at the age of 71.
The deceased, a retired diplomat and former IEDPU National President, ROYAL NEWS gathered that, was buried on Sunday at his Adewole Estate residence amidst mamooth crowd.
The janazah prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam Solih OON and was well attended by people from various walks of life.
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers’ Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, had in a condolence message issued by his Press Sectretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona described Amb. Sheikh Abdulazeez’s demise as a monumental loss to the Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general.
