The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 7, at Oretan Ijaiye forest in the Moniya area of Akinyele Local Government Area, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade.
Police said Rasaki reported to the Moniya Police Division that he accidentally shot Oyedepo around 2:00 p.m. while hunting. The victim reportedly slumped and died instantly.
