The Kwara State Commissioner for Youths Development has reaffirmed the State government’s unwavering commitment to students development and educational advancement.
The Commissioner, Amb. Ndanusa Usman Shehu made this submission during a courtesy visit by the Association of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (AIRPM) Unilorin chapter, to his office earlier today.
The Commissioner expressed appreciation for the association’s role in promoting human capital development and commended their efforts in engaging students in relevant academic and professional activities.
He emphasized that the State government remains dedicated to creating an enabling environment for students to thrive, stressing that education remains a top priority under the current administration.
Amb. Ndanusa commended the proactive leadership of the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), for his continuous investment in the education sector and his tireless efforts in empowering youths across the State.
He noted that under Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration, education has received unprecedented attention, which has significantly improved learning environments and students’ welfare.
“We are aware of the vital role students play in shaping the future of our State, the government is committed to providing the necessary support systems, ranging from infrastructure to welfare, so that our students can compete globally”, the Commissioner noted.
The AIRPM delegation, led by President Olagunle Ganiu Olakunle, applauded the Commissioner for his open-door policy and expressed readiness to partner with the Ministry on capacity-building initiatives targeted at students across tertiary institutions.
