Court affirms Ifeanyi Odii as Ebonyi PDP guber candidate
A Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki has nullified the rescheduled primary elections of the Ebonyi State governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The court ruled that the primary election, which took place on June 5 and 6, 2022 and produced Senator Obinna Ogba as a governoship candidate, was illegal, unconstitutional, null and void.
The court also upheld the primary election earlier conducted on May 29, 2022, which produced Dr Ifeanyi Odii as governorship candidate of the PDP.
