Court nullifies creation of four new emirates in Kano

There was tension as a High Court, sitting in Kano State, on Thursday, nullified the four newly created Emirate Council, created by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

In his judgment, Justice Usman Na’abba, said the creation of the Emirates and appointment of four Emirs, is illegal.
