Court Orders Metuh To Appear For Trial
Former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Olisah Metuh, has been ordered to appear at the Federal High Court, Abuja for his trial on February 5th or risk arrest.
Justice Okon Abang gave the order on Thursday, in his ruling on an application filed by Metuh, seeking an adjournment to his trial on health grounds.
The judge said that the medical report which Metuh wanted the court to rely on to grant the adjournment was not a proper document before the court.
The judge said that there was a laid down procedure for filing such document in court.
He adjourned the matter until February the 5 and 6 for continuation of trial.
