Don’t terminate our appointment, Kwara N-Powers beg Buhari

As the duration of the 2016 N-Power programme winds up, beneficiaries in the Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State have solicited for permenency.

According to the N-Power spokesperson in the local government, Comrade Mohammed Abdullahi Mohammed on Teusday during their rally in Lafiagi, the youth empowerment should be made permanent.

The N-Power is a Federal Government social investment programme that empower Nigerian youths, as selected beneficiaries are posted to various places of primary assignments and earn N30, 000 monthly stipend for 2 years.

The Edu N-Power spokesperson said, “As the 2016 batch of the N-Power beneficiaries are winding up their two years voluntary and humanitarian services to the nation, we wish to pray for continuity of the programme on a permanent and pensionable bases.”

Appreciating the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mohammed said their hope have been renewed, as well as rekindling their faith in the country.

“Your (Buhari) honesty outshines all and your integrity to take Nigeria to a greater height is second to none. We thereby implore you to do justice to us, do justice to them and do justice to all.”

The beneficiaries further noted that “the current administration in Nigeria is touching many lives, transforming many socio-economic areas of human endeavour.
