Fayose, for his criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari, on his health
conditions while in London for medical vacation.

streets of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital to celebrate President
Buhari, describing him Fayose as a nuisance who should be ignored.

and Ajilosun area, making commuters to wait for several minutes
before having a right of way.
In her address to the people, the APC Acting Chairman in the State,
Mrs Kemi Olaleye, said God has shamed those wishing the President
death, saying Buhari’s return will rekindle the war against
corruption, insurgency and secession .
Olaleye appealed to Fayose to make good his threat that he would
commit suicide if President Buhari returns to Nigeria hale and
hearty.
She used the opportunity to allayed fear that the APC primary in
preparations for the 2018 governorship poll will be manipulated,
assuring that the candidate will emerge through the unanimous voice
of the party members.
“Mr Fayose has turned himself to propaganda-in-chief , but we are
happy that God has shamed those who thought President Buhari won’t
return alive. With this rally, the end has come to Governor Fayose’s
reign in Ekiti.
“The good people of this state are not in support of Fayose’s action,
because we are cultured and compassionate people.
“ Look at the Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Nyesom Wike, he went to
Abuja to welcome the president back to Nigeria. That was a show of
maturity, why was our governor not learning from this?
“We are solidly behind President Buhari even beyond 2019. And we are
pleading with Nigerians to discountenance whatever Fayose has been
saying against the president. He was not speaking for us, he only
spoke for himself”, she said.
According to Olaleye, Ekiti is tired of one day, one trouble under
Fayose, saying the next poll will mark the end for the governor’s
dominance in the state.
In a solidarity message by Civil Society groups, the body rejoiced
with Nigerians over safe return of the president, saying the anxiety
generated by his health status terrified Nigerians, particularly
those in support of his anti-graft war.

Political Parties, CNPP, Prince Tunji Ogunlola, praised Nigerians for
praying for Buhari’s quick recovery, pointing out that their prayers
helped the medical team to achieve success in the treatment of the
president.
“Nigeria’s collective destiny cannot be aborted by a tiny group of
crooks whose survival depend on the looting of our commonwealth. It
is on this strength that we believe the President’s return presents a
fresh hope for the accomplishment of our collective dream for a great
nation as hr settles down to work.
“our hope to tackle corruption and grown the nation’s through economic
transformation that will create jobs for our teeming youths have
been rekindled with Buhari’s return.
“It was gratifying that those who wanted Buhari dead has been put to
shame and we warn that this new sheriff that just returned to town
will as usual has no patience for looters and conmen in government”,
Ogunlola said.
Meanwhile, an All Progressives Congress , APC, governorship
aspirant in Ekiti State, Mr Kola Alabi, has declared that the return
of President Muhammadu Buhai, has dashed the hope of corrupt
Nigerians , who thought they will escape the hammer of justice.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti , yesterday, Alabi described Buhari’s
return from London after 104 days of medical vacation as a testimony
that only God can decide the life expectancy of human beings and not
any mortal.
Alabi, rejoiced with Nigerians, particularly members of the APC
across the nation, describing President Buhari’s return as a victory
of light over the forces of evil.
He condemned how some top opposition politicians, who were regarded
as the nation’s leaders were making inflammatory and incendiary
comments over Buhari’s health, urging them to always put the interest
of the Nigerian populace above parochial considerations.
The Coordinator of Progressives Youth League, Barrister Adeoye
Aribasoye and the former Chairman of the Trade Union Congress(TUC),
Com. Kolawole Olaiya , urged Buhari to probe various bailouts and
Paris club funds that had been released to Ekiti state in recent time.
“What we learnt was that, Governor Fayose had diverted those funds to
projects that have no direct relevance to the lives of our people
instead of paying salaries.
“Ekiti people are respectable people with human feelings, we could not
have wished Buhari dead, over what? Governor Fayose only spoke for
himself and Nigerians should just perceive him as a nuisance which
should be ignored.
