
The leader of the South-South movement and former Commissioner for Information, Edwin Clark, is dead.
He died on Monday night at the age of 97, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.
Prof. C. C. Clark stated this in a statement issued on behalf of the family.
He said: “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, on Monday, 17th February 2025.
“The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Further details will be announced in due course.” His passing comes just days after the death of Afenifere leader, Ayo Adebanjo, who was aged 96.”
