Emir of Ilorin appoints 11-member caretaker committee for Alangua/Magaji forum

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has approved the appointment of 11-member caretaker committee for the Ilorin Emirate Alangua/Magaji forum.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson to the Emir, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressing that the committee should work towards the peaceful co-existence of all and sundry in the emirate and beyond.
According to the monarch, “While the appointment takes immediate effect, the Alangua Ile -Apa, Alhaji Yusuf Saliu and his counterpart in Agbona shall serve as the chairman and secretary respectively.
Also included are; ” the Alangua Alama, Alhaji Ahmed Salman (Assistant Secretary), Magaji Esinrogunjo, Alhaji Amosa Ojulari (Teasurer) and the Magaji Masudo, Alhaji Saliu Malomo Mohammed  (Publicity Secretary).
Other members of the committee according to the statement are; “the Alangua Awe, Alhaji Oba Sulaiman, Alangua Saaki, Alhaji Issa Ahmed,Magaji Jogbo-Jogbo, Alhaji Abdulrahman Shuaib, Magaji Bijowuro, Alhaji Toyin Yakub Oko-Nma, Alangua Osin, Alhaji Zakariyah Yusuf and Alangua Gbadamu, Alhaji Sa’ad Jamba-Odara.
The emir also turbaned the former Managing Director of Lower Niger River Basin and Rural Development Authority, Engr. Abubakar Tonile Aduragba as the new Magaji Muse.
He however charged them to be dutiful and committed to the peace, security and and growth of their respective communities  in particular, Ilorin Emirate and Kwara state in general.
