The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has expressed sadness over the death of two leading members of the Zazzau Emirate, the Iyan Zazzau, Bashir Aminu and Talban Zazzau, Abubakar Pate.

The Emir, in a condolence message signed by his Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, commiserated with the Sarkin Zazzau, Ambassador Nuhu Bamali, over the incidence.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari said: I received the news of the death of two prominent princes and traditional Chiefs of Zazzau Emirate Council, Iyan Zazzau and Talban Zazzau with shock and sadness. The incidence is tragic, catastrophic and unfortunate.

“I commiserate with the immediate and extended families of the demised Chiefs, the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness, Amb. Nuhu Bamali, the entire Zazzau Emirate Council, government and people of Kaduna State over the colossal loss.”

The Emir therefore prayed Allah to give their families the fortitude to bear the great loss, forgive their shortcomings, accept their good deeds and admit them into Al-janatul firdaos.
