The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Regional Editor of Leadership Newspapers (North-Central), Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, for bagging Award of Credence for modest contributions to the development of the society through developmental news reporting.
In a goodwill message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir lauded the awardee for his numerous support to the Ilorin Emirate through balanced reporting among other sterling contributions.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also emphasised on the unique roles of media practitioners towards fostering peaceful and harmonious environment for business growth and community development.
He therefore advocated for continuous support for journalists in order to enable them to serve the society better even as he thanked SWOT Team Organisation for Educational Development, Nigeria, Africa for the gesture and recognition.
