The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the former Police Public Relations Officer at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, DCP Moshood Jimoh, on his promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police.

The Emir, in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, thanked the Police Service Commission (PSC), for finding DCP Jimoh worthy of the new rank.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari further described the former Force spokesman as a diligent and committed officer whose drive for professionalism projected the image of the Nigeria Police accurately and appropriately as a true friend of the people as well as a veritable tool for protection of lives and property across the nation.

He further scored Moshood Jimoh high in his On-The-Job trainings which he acquired both home and abroad with special attentions to the leadership and combatant workshops and trainings attended in Seoul in South Korea as well as Republic of China.

The Emir however urged the police officer not to relent in his efforts by sustaining professionalism and fear of God in the discharge of his duties to the nation even as he prayed for absolute protections for him and the entire security agents across the nation.
