….mourns demise of ex-Reps, Yekini Alajagusi
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with Dr. Mohammed Ghali Alaaya on his appointment as a Non- Executive Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also described Dr. Alaaya as a competent, steadfast and visionary person who posseses the required mental capacity and intelligence to deliver on his mandates as a stakeholder in the Petroleum sector of the nation.
The Emir stated this in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, adding that “the appointee will contribute meaningfully to issues that will further ensure economic growth and development of the nation through the NNPCL.
He also felicitated with the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, for attracting such a valuable to position to the state and thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his approval of the appointment.
However, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari has mourned over the demise of former member of the Federal House of Representatives who represented Asa/Ilorin West, Hon. Yekini Alajagusi who died on Tuesday.
He commiserated with the government and people of Kwara State especially the people of Asa Local Government Area over the great loss describing it as a colossal loss to humanity.
The thetefore Emir prayed that Almighty Allah will forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
