The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has felicitated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, on the occasion of his 41st birthday.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this in a goodwill message issued on Sunday by his Spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona.
He described the Speaker as a vibrant young leader and a committed lawmaker whose contributions to legislative governance and youth development are commendable.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari noted that Rt. Hon. Salihu Danladi has demonstrated maturity, loyalty, and capacity in steering the affairs of the State Assembly, fostering harmonious relationships between the legislature and other arms of government for the growth and stability of Kwara State.
According to him, “At 41, the Speaker has already written his name in gold as a symbol of hope for the younger generation. His leadership style reflects wisdom, humility, and dedication to the ideals of service.”
The Emir particularly praised the Speaker’s efforts in championing pro-people legislation, promoting peace, and supporting initiatives that advance the welfare of Kwarans across all constituencies.
He urged the celebrant to sustain his people-oriented approach, remain steadfast in service, and continue to be a worthy ambassador of the Ilorin Emirate at the state and national levels.
While praying for the Speaker, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, on behalf of the entire Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, asked Almighty Allah to grant him long life in sound health, greater wisdom, and divine guidance to continue to serve the state and humanity at large.
