Emir of Okuta reacts to attack on PDP campaign team (WATCH VIDEO)

The Emir of Okuta in Baruten Local Government of Kwara State, HRH Alhaji Sero Abubakar has condemned in strong, clear and unambiguous terms the unsuccessful attempt to attack the convoy of the Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party Stakeholders, who were in the town on Campaign visit.
Despite the distraction, the PDP went on with it’s campaign, received by a throng of supporters amid cheer, applause and commendation.
The PDP Subsequently proceeded to the Palace of the Emir of Okuta to seek royal blessings.
Receiving the PDP Stakeholders at his Palace, the Emir described as unfortunate the desperate resolve to violence, from those he described as agents of distabilization imported to cause confusion.

The Emir dissociated the entire Okuta community from the violent attempt, noting that they are law abiding and peaceful in Okuta and indeed Baruten Local Government.
The visibly happy Emir, could not contain his joy on receiving the Kwara PDP Stakeholders at his Palace, led by the Senate President, His Excellency Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
“The people of Okuta have remained committed to the ideals of the Saraki dynasty and we reassure you of our  commitment even as we approach the polls” The Emir declared.
“Okuta and indeed Baruten is a PDP Stronghold” The Emir also declared.
He reassured the Kwara PDP of the overwhelming support of the people of Okuta during the general elections.
Also at the Palace of the Emir was the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, Rt. Hon. Razak Atunwa, the Kwara PDP Governorship Candidate, the Kwara North PDP Senatorial Candidate Hon. Zakari Mohammed, DG Mandate 2019, Kwara PDP Campaign Council, Prof. Abubakar Olarewaju Sulaiman and a host of others.
