Emir Sulu-Gambari commiserates with Borno monarchs over Biu Emir’s death

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has commiserated with the government and people of Borno State over the death of the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mai Umar Mustapha Aliyu.

In a condolence message signed by his Media Aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Tuesday, the Emir described the incident as colosal loss stressing that, “From Allah we come, to Him we shall all return.”

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also condoled the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Garbai Ibn El-Kanemi and the entire traditional rulers in the state over the great loss.

He therefore prayed that Allah should accept the good deeds of the deceased, forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.

The Emir also besieged Allah to give his immediate family, the people of Biu Emirate Council and the entire people of Borno the fortitude to bear the great loss.

The late Emir died Monday night at the Federal Medical Center (Federal Teaching Hospital), Gombe after a brief illness.
