Emir Sulu-Gambari condoles Ona Abaji over Madaki’s death

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commiserated with the people of Abaji Area Council over the demise of the Madaki of Abaji, Alhaji Ibrahim Aguye,who died on Wednesday (today).

 

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari specifically condoled with the Ona of Abaji and Chairman FCT Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr) Yunusa Adamu Baba CON, over the loss of the Madaki who is also his second in command in the line of authority in the Emirate.

This is contained in a condolence message issued on Wednesday night by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the deceased as a strong pillar and confidant of the paramount ruler of Abaji towards sustaining peace and development in the area.

He commiserates with the families of the late Madaki both immediate and extended over the colossal loss and big vacuum that would be created and difficult to mend by anyone except Almighty Allah.

The Emir also extended the heartfelt condolences of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council to the Ona Abaji and the entire Abaji Emirate Council stressing that, “Our hearts and prayers are with you at this moment of grief.

“May Almighty Allah forgive the late Madaki Abaji his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.”

ROYAL NEWS reports that the Madaki Abaji who died on Wednesday will be buried tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am.
