The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Abdulrazaq’s family as their matriarch, Hajia Raliat Abdulrazaq, clocks 95, today 26th May 2025.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the celebrant is the mother of the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari noted that Hajia Raliat, through her foundation, has contributed to the growth and development of the Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general.
This is contained in a goodwill message issued on Monday by the Emir’s spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona.
Alhaji Sulu-Sulu-Gambari described her as a quintessential woman of valour who has dedicated her life to community service, child and family upbringing, and providing mentorship to younger generations.
While praying for the soul of her late husband and former Mutawali of Ilorin, Alhaji A.G.F Abdulrazaq (SAN), the Emir congratulates her children for the achievements of caring for their aged-mother at such an advanced age.
He wishes the celebrant more years of peace and comfort on earth to the service of Almighty Allah and humanity.
